Heilbronn Fair

The ultramodern fair and event center Intersport Redblue Arena in Heilbronn annually offers a wide range of fairs and events. High-tech fairs, crafts and public exhibitions or international congresses, just to name a few. The fair grounds opened in 2004 are situated in a convenient location on the northwest border of Heilbronn – near the motorway exit A6 "Heilbronn/Untereisesheim". The HOGH Hotel Heilbronn is approx. 5.5 km (motorway) apart from the Redblue Arena.

City hall Heilbronn

The showcase building was constructed in gothic style in 1417. The showpiece of this building is the in 1579/80 established decorative astronomic clock and an additional clock showing the lunar phases by Isaak Habrecht, who also created the clock on the Cathedral of Straßbourg.

Kilianskirche Heilbronn

This church originates from the second half of the 15th century. Its original octagonal tower is deemed to be the first Renaissance tower north of the Alps. Inside the church, a masterpiece of late-gothic altar art was re-erected - the high altar by Hans Seyfer.

Bad Wimpfen

The famous city of the Staufer dynasty has not only a historical silhouette, but also many narrow, winding lanes and well-preserved half-timbered houses. A walk along the old city wall is worthwhile. From there you will have a nice view to the Neckar river.


The water park opened in 1990 guarantees a lot of fun. The attractions include the wild water slide, subtropical flair with palm trees, salt water pools on the inside and outside, a modern sauna department and many more. AQUAtoll will turn your trip into a short holiday.

Leisure facility Breitenauer See

This artificial lake is ideal for various watersports like sailboarding and sailing. Furthermore, there are swimming bays and a natural park, the Nature Park "Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald". In addition, the mountains of Löwenstein are also nearby.


You just have to visit Hockenheim in order to feel like Michael Schumacher. Besides intensive driving training and inline skating courses, Hockenheim offers a lot of entertainment for the whole family.

Car and technology museum Sinsheim

The car and technology museum in Sinsheim has over 3000 exhibits on 30.000 sqm in 10 halls and on an outside area. The museum is only a short drive away from Heilbronn. It is certainly a unique experience for both men and women. Be impressed by the technology and history of the museum. In addition, the IMAX 3D cinema and the bridal fashion show is surely something for everybody.


The leisure and adventure park "Altweibermühle" (Old Women's Mill) Tripsdrill is located in the "Zabergäu" area and includes original attractions like the "Waschzuber-Rafting" (Washtub Rafting), giant slides, teacup ride, feeding of the wolfs in the zoo and many more. Have fun on a wide range surface of over 650.000 sqm - it is really worth a trip.


The historical university city is in many respects worth a journey, especially because it is just about half an hour away from Heilbronn. A sightseeing tour in the romantic old town, touring the castle, a walk to the "Friedrich-Ebert" memorial center or strolling along the "Philosophenweg" (Philosopher's trail) with a view over Heidelberg's scenery is as essential as visiting the traditional student bars.

Salt mine Bad Friedrichshall

Opening hours: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9.30 AM - 4.00 PM and Wednesday afternoons from 2.00 PM - 4.00 PM. You will get 180 m under the ground. Geological displays provide you with information about the history of the salt mine. Life size dinosaurs let the past become the present. A slide with a length of 42 m and an altitude difference of 11 m is certainly a memorable experience for every family member.

Romantic Castle Trail

This tourist route (the only one leading in east-west direction from Heidelberg to Prag) with more than 70 castles and over 100 museums offers various art-historical authenticities and examples of true craftsmanship to every interested party. The journey into the "Romantik" (romance) that can be found along this route is worth it.

German bicycle museum in Neckarsulm

Opening hours: year-round; daily (except Mondays) from 9.00 AM - 12.00 AM and 1.00 PM - 5.00 PM. In different sections, you can find every type of bicycle, ranging from the first running machines to modern motorcycles, from the first motorized "Daimler-bike" to revolutionary NSU models. More than 300 exhibits can be seen in this museum.


The biggest long-term geo thermal facility of Europe, a thousand square meters of collector surfaces, decentralized local heating islands and the first common thermal solar system in Germany are just a few keywords. It is a must-see for everybody who is interested in alternative energies.

Audi factory Neckarsulm

This factory provides an impressive demonstration of German engineering. Audi is the leading manufacturer of aluminium automobiles. A modern, yet historical and continually growing facility.
